Metric Geo are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading general contractor in San Fransico. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in preconstruction and estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for cost estimates.
- Develop detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns for all project phases.
- Lead preconstruction efforts, including bidding, value engineering, and risk assessments.
- Present estimates and recommendations to leadership and clients in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an estimator, preferably on large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
